2018, Samsara festival, Töreki, Hungary
These location-specific installations are reflections of the bardos of life, dreaming and meditation.
WindWheel stands in the midst of life’s bardo – harboring and hiding a mani pearl in its vortex.
Room 11 hosts the bardo of dreaming veiled in the invisible side of reality. Here you also find the book of Samsara, inviting wanderers aiming to participate in creating a mutual work (realization) by writing their dreams in and of Samsara onto the pages. The book disappeared by the end of the festival.
Intermediate Space offers a place for the bardo of meditation.
“Sitting quietly, doing nothing, Spring comes, and the grass grows, by itself.” (Bashō)
