10th International Lake Velence Symposion, Velence, Hungary

The creation of the work was inspired by the differences in the proportions of the hollow and knotty stems. So to say, I had created a puzzle for myself, in which the final question was how the triangles made up of pre-sorted canes fill my bamboo cubes. Beyond the finished artifact itself, the creative process was also important to me: this quite long process, beginning with the idea and resulting in the completion of the object. It was completed by and at the moment when it splashed into the lake – the cube’s connection to the water, the reflections both intensifying the object’s previously mentioned playfulness.
